Culture. Beauty. Voice.
Story First, Always.
Colleen Nika is a writer and creative director with over fifteen years of experience shaping voice, story, and style across luxury, beauty, and music. Working at the intersection of editorial and branding, she brings a distinct cultural lens to every project — whether crafting a fragrance campaign or profiling a visionary artist.
She began her career as a music and fashion journalist, becoming Rolling Stone’s first-ever style editor and a writer-at-large for DAZED. Since then, she’s led 360° storytelling across brand, editorial, and campaign work — including creative direction at M·A·C and Bumble and bumble, and voice work for W, Function of Beauty, and beyond.
Equally at home in the studio or the strategy deck, Colleen has shaped everything from major cover stories to music videos, product launches, and luxury rebrands. She also works on select projects in photography and design.
She lives in Brooklyn and collaborates with creatives around the globe. Available for fractional creative direction and storytelling leadership across beauty, fashion, and culture. Plug her in — she’ll find the signal.
